I know it has been awhile since I last blogged – but I am back! I have so much to blog in the coming weeks. Today I am excited to share with you the wonderful wedding and celebration of Nate and Bryan. I was so thrilled when they asked me if I would come to Cannon Beach and be a part of their wedding weekend adventure! I actually went to high school with Bryan and we sang in choir together way back when. 🙂 These are two of the nicest and most generous guys you could ever know. I absolutely adore them both. It is so clear that they are meant for each other in every way. What a great celebration it was! We woke up the morning of the ceremony and it was….windy. I don’t mean a nice breeze, I mean the kind of wind that knocks you over and blows the sand sideways. The ceremony was supposed to be on the beach. The wind was so strong it blew over all the chairs that had been set up. It was clear that it would not be comfortable for anyone to be on the beach in those conditions. At the last moment they decided to move to the garden area instead. These two didn’t let a little wind bother them, though. They were so flexible and positive about it all! Even taking portraits was very challenging, as everyone’s hair was blowing sideways, and it was hard to keep my camera steady. It was quite an adventure but such an amazing day. The ceremony was beautiful and so was the reception. It was such a fabulous party and I am so happy I got to be a part of it all. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
Lara Eichhorn - Such a cute couple; awesome smiles. Great work, Dana. You captured so much joy. I LOVE that black and white shot of them walking on the beach – it should be printed big.
Karen - Beautiful couple, great portraits!
