I have been a fan of Kristin Chenoweth since I first saw her on the Rosie O’Donnell Show years ago. I saw her in Wicked 4 times while I was living in New York. During my years performing on cruise ships, I would watch her performance of “Glitter and be Gay” over and over on my VHS tape. You get my point. Kristin is currently performing a 19 city tour which began its run in Seattle. I follow Kristin on Twitter and I knew that they were in town rehearsing for a few days prior to the show. So I sent a tweet to Kristin and her assistant Julie. I let them know I was a photographer here and if they needed anything documented during their rehearsals to please contact me. Well guess what? They did! I woke up to a message from Julie the day of the show. She asked if I would mind coming that afternoon to document the rehearsal which included Kristin working with her fantastic director, Richard Jay-Alexander. Of course I said yes! It was such a fun experience. Every single person who works for Kristin is kind and lovely. I enjoyed being a fly on the wall that afternoon, after the show in her dressing room, and during the meet and greet with her fans. Kristin was so sweet and kind and the show was absolutely incredible. She still has a ton of dates left and you should not miss this show! Click here to see the rest of her tour dates. Here are just a few of the hundreds of photos I took that day.
Thank you Julie and Kristin for being so kind and for allowing me to be a part of such a special day!!
