I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Gustavo and Megan. Once again it was one of the coldest days of winter so far. I met them at Megan’s parents’ house where everyone was getting ready. It is one of the loveliest houses I have ever seen. Lots of great places to take photos! The house was bustling with energy and full of people. A lot of Gustavo’s family from Brazil was staying there and it was so much fun! They are all some of the nicest people I have ever met. Then we headed out for a few more portraits on our way to the church. I felt so bad making all the girls take their coats off for photos. It was seriously cold and windy outside. I think we managed to get some good photos very quickly. It was a lovely ceremony and Megan even recited her vows in Portuguese. The reception was at the beautiful Union Station. It is such a gorgeous space and everything looked stunning. It was a wonderful reception with lots of dancing and fun. I am so happy I got to be a part of this special day. Thanks to the wonderfully talented Saskia M for second shooting with me. It is always a comfort to have her there.
