Bridal Snow Shoot – Iron Horse State Park – Snoqualmie, WA

I am so excited to blog some of the photos from our crazy snow adventure a couple of weeks ago!  Melissa and I had been plotting to do a bridal shoot in the snow since the fall, but it took us until spring to make it happen.  It started as a small project and before we knew it we had awesome Seattle vendors involved and lots of fabulous models. Chrissy Wai-Ching allowed us to use her absolutely gorgeous dresses.  I am so in love with her designs. We also had the fabulous Bella Umbrella involved who allowed us to use some of their gorgeous umbrellas.  Obviously the weather in the mountains is crazy and hard to predict so we picked a date and crossed our fingers.  When we got up there it was snowing. A lot. So we sat and waited. And waited some more. It was evening  before we had a break in the snow and started shooting.  After a few minutes of clearing it started to come down again so we decided to keep shooting. As you can see from the photos we had every kind of weather in the short period of time we were shooting. The sun would come out for 5 minutes and then the snow would start up again. Can I just say we had the most amazing models ever? It was COLD and they were so fabulous. Honestly I didn’t get a single complaint from them despite the fact that they were obviously freezing.  Everyone who was involved was absolutely amazing.  It turned out to be such a great day and I am so happy with the results!  We didn’t get to shoot as long as I would have liked due to the weather but what we did get was SO worth all the stress and time put in to organizing!  I cannot thank everyone enough who was involved and helped out.  The team:
